Built to work with CPAs, tax counsel, and family office teams — not around them.
Redirect Tax Partners coordinates the review of transferable federal tax credit opportunities so the professionals who actually serve the client can do their work efficiently.
Our Role
We don't replace you. We make your life easier.
Redirect Tax Partners does not provide tax, legal, accounting, securities, or investment advice. We're a coordination layer.
Our job is to organize the review environment around a transferable tax credit transaction so the client's CPA, tax counsel, family office, or finance team has clean documentation, clear answers, and an organized counterparty to work with.
If you've spent any time looking at this market, you already know the problem: the credits are real, the framework is real, but the experience of running a transaction can be chaotic. Inventory is fragmented. Documentation quality varies. Counterparties disappear mid-process. We exist because that's not acceptable when a multi-million-dollar tax position is at stake.
The questions good advisors ask. We expect them. We welcome them.
The advisors we work best with ask sharp questions on the first call. The ones we hear most often:
Is this transaction permitted under IRC §6418, and how is it documented?
What credit category is being transferred (§45Q, §48, §45X)?
Is there an IRS registration number? Can we see the confirmation?
What does the lifecycle assessment cover, and who performed it?
What does the legal tax opinion cover, and who issued it?
How is recapture risk addressed in the purchase agreement?
For an individual or pass-through client, how does §469 apply?
What form of tax liability insurance is available, and what does it cover?
What does the Form 3800 filing workflow look like?
Who is the credit generator, and what's their operating history?
A credible process answers every one of these on request. If a counterparty can't, that's the signal to walk.
What We Coordinate
We organize the diligence package, coordinate counterparty introductions, and give the client and the advisory team a clear orientation to the structure before anyone commits time to a deep review.
Transaction Orientation & Diligence
Documentation flow, version control, and communication management across the CPA, tax counsel, and internal finance teams — so nothing falls through the cracks and the process stays organized.
Documentation & Workflow
Risk, Insurance & Filing Support
Risk discussion, tax liability insurance coordination, and filing-stage support (Form 3800, IRS registration confirmation). We don't render opinions — we make sure your team has what they need to.
Counterparty Communication
We manage communication with the credit generator and other transaction parties throughout closing — so your client deals with one organized point of contact, not a fragmented chain of intermediaries.
